Deputy Director Of Conglomerate-owned Paint Company Hermanto Tanoko Purchased 9.15 Million Avian Shares Worth Rp6.47 Billion

JAKARTA - Deputy President Director of PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA) Ruslan Tanoko bought up 9,149,300 shares of this paint manufacturer. Ruslan Tanoko bought the shares through PT Sensasi Istana Warna, which he owns as much as 99.995 percent.

After the transaction, Ruslan Tanoko's ownership in the company owned by conglomerate Hermanto Tanoko through Sensasi Istana Warna is 0.0148 percent. Where previously Ruslan did not hold any AVIA shares.

In the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted on Tuesday, May 24, Ruslan Tanoko bought AVIA shares on May 13, 2022 with a price range between Rp. 695-720 per share. The transaction value penetrated Rp6.47 billion.

"The ownership in this share purchase transaction is through PT Sensasi Istana Warna, where PT Sensasi Warna is owned by Ruslan Tanoko for 99.995 percent," said Ruslan Tanoko.

For information, PT Avia Avian Tbk posted a profit for the year attributable to the parent entity of IDR 385 billion in the first quarter of 2022, a decrease of 15 percent compared to the same period last year of IDR 454 billion.

The decline in the company's net profit could not be separated from the weakening of net sales by 9.4 percent to Rp. 1.6 trillion from Rp. 1.8 trillion. Even though the cost of goods sold decreased from Rp986 billion to Rp970 billion, the company's operating profit still fell to Rp408 billion from Rp570 billion.
