JAKARTA - PT BCA Digital customers can now use the BI-Fast Payment or BI-Fast transaction service on the blu mobile banking application. This service has been implemented by BCA Digital since 27 April 2022.

The presence of BI-Fast as an alternative transaction service makes blu customers more able to enjoy various ways to transfer funds at an efficient cost, which is IDR 2,500. On the other hand, blu customers can still experience free online transfer fees or IDR 0 with bluRewards.

President Director of PT Bank Digital BCA Lanny Budiati said that the BI-Fast service is part of the product and technology development roadmap for the blu mobile banking application in 2022.

"Our main focus is to accommodate as many customer needs as possible, so that blu can become a daily financial friend who can help customers achieve financial goals," said Lanny in a statement to the media, Tuesday 10 May.

Lanny said, blu customers can use BI-Fast services with a minimum transaction of IDR 5 thousand and a maximum of IDR 250 million. To be able to enjoy BI-Fast, customers only need to have a mobile number or email registered in the blu by BCA Digital application.

The mobile phone number or email is then registered as a proxy address to replace the account number function in BI-Fast. One proxy address can only be used in one account.

"But if blu customers have registered their cellphone number or email at another bank, they can still update the proxy address on blu," said Lanny.

The following is a guide on how to register or set a proxy address in the blu by BCA Digital application:

1.On the blu home page, click the profile photo/icon at the top left of the screen

2.Select a proxy address

3.Click 'register' then select the mobile number or email registered on blu as a proxy address

4. If a notification appears that the proxy address is already registered in another application, click "move Proxy Address to blu, or"

5.Can choose another phone number/email

6. Confirm the proxy address submission

7. Enter the PIN and then the customer can transfer with Bi-Fast via blu.

In addition to BI-Fast, blu also provides other fund transfer services with various fee options and transaction limits according to terms and conditions, including; online transfers, LLG transfers, and RTGS transfers to accommodate various customer needs.

For information, Bank Indonesia launched the BI-Fast service at the end of 2021. BI-Fast operates 24/7 and the payment settlement time is only about 25 seconds.

Quoting from an online press conference held by BI, it was explained that BI-Fast service transactions continued to increase from month to month. As of March 2022, BI-Fast transactions increased significantly month-to-month, which was 43 percent.
