The Selling Price Of Gas Fuel For Transportation Rose To IDR 4.500

JAKARTA - The government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) issued the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 82 of 2022 concerning the Selling Price of Gas Fuel (BBG) used for transportation.

In this regulation, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources imposes a tariff of IDR 4.500 per liter of premium equivalent (LSP) from the previous IDR 3.100 per LSP.

This regulation also states that the selling price of gas fuel used for transportation is for gas fuel in the form of compressed natural gas (CNG) which is intended for motorized vehicles for road transportation.

"The selling price of Gas Fuel used for transportation at Gas Fuel Filling Stations in the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is IDR 4.500 for each lsp including taxes," wrote the regulation, which was signed by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif on April 19, 2022.

Through this provision, the Director-General of Oil and Gas of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources continues to monitor and supervise the implementation of the BBG selling price for transportation.

With the enactment of this Decree, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources revoked the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No. 2932 of 2010 concerning the selling price of BBG used for transportation in the Jakarta area.

"This Ministerial Decree comes into effect on May 1, 2022," the policy concluded.
