Luno Indonesia Country Manager, Wins Indonesia Young Business Leaders Award 2022

JAKARTA - Jay Jayawijayaningtiyas, Country Manager for Luno Indonesia was awarded the Indonesia Young Business Leaders Award 2022 for the Young Unit Business Leader Category.

Chief Editor of SWA Media, Kemal E. Gani presented the award to Jay virtually, Wednesday 27 April, to appreciate his impressive achievement as one of the outstanding young leaders in a company in Indonesia. Jay was chosen because he has shown visionary leadership and has succeeded in driving innovation that has a positive impact on the company's success.

Jay Jayawijayaningtiyas, Country Manager for Luno Indonesia, said that he was honored to have been awarded the Indonesia Young Business Leaders Award 2022 for the Young Business Unit Leader Category.

This award is also a form of appreciation for the development of the crypto industry in Indonesia, which shows that crypto asset investment platforms have begun to be widely known by the public," said Jay in his statement, Friday, April 29.

"Hopefully this achievement will continue to encourage us to innovate as well as facilitate and encourage education on crypto asset investment in Indonesia so that it is easy for anyone," added Jay.

Prior to joining Luno Indonesia as Country Manager in 2019, Jay, a graduate of Aerospace Engineering Nanyang Technological University Singapore, has worked for 9 years at Merrill Lynch & Macquarie Investment Bank in Singapore. In addition, Jay is also the Co-founder & CEO of Expertjasa, a technology startup in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Jay's decision to join Luno Indonesia is because he believes that in the next few years, crypto assets will have a big impact in Indonesia.

"Together with Luno, I feel we can do a lot to bring and continue to provide continuous education so that the Indonesian people can feel safe and confident in starting crypto asset investments," added Jay.
