JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani is said to have held a special bilateral meeting with the Minister of Finance of South Africa (South Africa) Enoch Godongwana on the sidelines of a series of working visits in the framework of the IMF-WBG Spring Meeting 2022 in Washington DC, United States.

In the meeting, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani explained that Indonesia and South Africa were involved in intense discussions about the G20.

Meanwhile, Minister Enoch Godongwana expressed his support for the G20 Presidency of Indonesia for the period throughout this year.

"We hope that Indonesia will succeed in leading the discussions and discussions at the G20 in the midst of a challenging situation like today," he said.

Furthermore, at the end of the meeting, the Minister of Finance invited and asked for Minister Enoch Godongwana's willingness to come to the next FMCBG meeting in July 2022 which will be held in Bali.
