JAKARTA – The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) through the Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) West Java III reported that the reporting of Annual Tax Return (SPT) of taxpayers in Bogor City, Depok City, Bekasi City and Bogor Regency was recorded at 564,132 SPT to March 31, 2022.

PLT Kakanwil DJP West Java III Muhammad Ismiransyah M. Zain said this number will continue to increase and is expected to reach 750,000 until December 31, 2022.

"The majority of individual SPTs are employees who earn more than Rp. 60 million per year, with 396,811 SPTs reported," he said in an official statement quoted on Sunday, April 17.

Ismiransyah continued, for SPT 1770SS or employees with income below Rp. 60 million a year, 133,892 SPTs were recorded, followed by casual workers who filled out SPT 1770, as of which 25,073 SPTs had been submitted. As for the SPT of corporate taxpayers, 8,266 SPT 1771 have been reported.

"The deadline for submitting the 2021 annual corporate tax returns is up to April 30, 2022 or four months after the end of the tax year," he said.

Meanwhile, until the first quarter of 2022, the value of tax revenues in the West Java III Regional Tax Office area has reached Rp5.86 trillion or 25.7 percent of the target that has been mandated Rp22.8 trillion.
