Muamalat Institute Executive Director Anton Hendrianto said that UMM's strategic efforts through the Faculty of Economics and Business played a major role in encouraging the strengthening of national sharia resources.

On the same occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UMM Idah Zuhroh said that the Islamic Banking Class was a new breakthrough that implemented the spirit of Independent Learning of the Independent Campus (MBKM).

"Specifically, we want the presence of the Center of Excellence (CoE) Program to improve student competencies as professional workers who are ready to compete," he said.

Idah explained, the Islamic Banking Class offers comprehensive learning equivalent to 20 credits of courses.

"Later on, students will be given briefings such as internship opportunities in various regions in Indonesia with a period of six months," he asserted.
