JAKARTA - The government through the Secretary to the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Susiwijono revealed that the administration and data collection process in the cooking oil direct cash assistance (BLT) program has entered the final stage.

"We need to report yesterday that a technical coordination meeting was held to adjust and revise administrative documents, starting from general guidelines, technical instructions and also budgeting documents," he told the media crew via online channels on Friday, April 8.

For this reason, Susiwijono hopes that the execution of the distribution of cooking oil BLT can be carried out in the near future so that the completion target before Eid can be achieved.

"The target is to start distribution next week," he said.

Susiwijono asked for support from the police and military agencies that were appointed as aid distribution agencies in order to carry out as well as possible.

"In addition to being distributed by the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos), cooking oil BLT is also distributed by the TNI and Polri to 257 regencies/cities each or a total of 514 regencies/cities," he said.

For information, cooking oil BLT is given to the public based on two important data. The first is the data on the people who entered as recipients of food assistance with a total of 20.65 million families valued at Rp. 6.2 trillion, which was distributed by the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The second is data on BLT recipients for street vendors and stalls (PKLW) totaling 2.5 million people with a total of Rp750 billion distributed by the TNI/Polri.

Thus, the total BLT for cooking oil this time amounted to Rp. 6.95 trillion which was distributed to 23.15 million recipients.
