SIG Receives 2 Awards At The Top CSR Awards 2022​

JAKARTA - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) received the award for the Top CSR Awards 2022 # Star 5 category and Top Leader on CSR Commitment 2022 at the Top CSR Award 2022 event organized by Top Business Magazine, Wednesday 30 March at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta .

SIG won the Top CSR Awards 2022 # Star 5 category because it was assessed that the company's CSR policy and implementation system was at a very excellent (extraordinary) level and strongly supported the company's business strategy, both during the COVID-19 pandemic and for sustainable business growth. Corporate CSR is also worthy of being used as a benchmark/examples for other companies.

While the Top Leader on CSR Commitment 2022 award was given to the President Director of SIG, Donny Arsal because he was considered to have a high commitment in supporting the completeness of the system, governance, and the successful implementation of CSR programs in the company.

SIG's Corporate Secretary, Vita Mahreyni said that SIG is committed to implementing sustainability in line with sustainable development goals. The Company's commitment is embodied in the four pillars of sustainability, namely sustainable economic growth, climate and energy, circular economy and society and community.

"As a state-owned company, GIS is responsible for providing positive benefits to the community. This award is an appreciation as well as motivation for us to carry out CSR programs that are in line with sustainable development goals (SDGs)," said Vita Mahreyni.

The Top CSR Awards activity is an assessment and awarding activity in the field of CSR that is given to companies operating in Indonesia. The theme for the 2022 TOP CSR Awards is "The Responsible Company is a Key Strategy for Sustainable Business Growth".

The assessment of the 2022 TOP CSR Awards is based on the provisions of ISO 26000, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and the company's Business Strategy. The company that won the award was considered successful in implementing effective and quality Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs.
