JAKARTA - Presenting convenience for taxpayers in paying local taxes, Bank DKI launched Tax Savings with the DKI Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency. Tax Savings is part of the Monas Plan Savings which is intended to pay taxes.

The launch of the Tax Savings product was carried out by the Retail and Sharia Director of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi and Deputy Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Revenue Agency, Elvarinsa in Jakarta, Wednesday 30 March.

Director of Retail and Sharia of Bank DKI Babay Parid Wazdi conveyed that with Tax Savings, taxpayers can save in a disciplined and scheduled manner for tax payments. Taxpayers who open a Tax Savings account can also be more flexible in determining the auto-debit date, and can make tax payments in monthly installments. Taxpayers can also use the land & building tax auto debit facility.

Through Tax Savings, Bank DKI hopes to increase the interest of DKI Jakarta residents in paying Land and Building Taxes in a timely manner. Moreover, according to Babay Parid, Tax Savings offers an attractive interest rate and does not incur administration fees. In the future, Tax Savings can also be used to pay Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB).

In addition to providing convenience for Taxpayers, Babay Parid further added that Tax Savings is one of Bank DKI's efforts in supporting the increase of regional original income in DKI Jakarta.

"We (Bank DKI) have developed Tax Savings with various conveniences so that tax payments can be made in a planned and lighter way because they can be paid in monthly installments, without being complicated because they are carried out through an auto-debit process so that they are on time to special savings interest," said Babay.

As is known, in 2021, tax payment transactions through the e-Channel Bank DKI reached 142 thousand transactions with a nominal transaction of Rp 555 billion. Bank DKI also continues to improve the convenience of DKI Jakarta residents in paying local taxes, through the JakOne Mobile application, ATM, EDC for individual customers at all Bank DKI service offices, and the Cash Management System for institutional customers.

In addition to receiving PBB payments, Bank DKI can also receive annual Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) payments through JakOne Mobile.

"Currently, JakOne mobile can be used as a transaction tool in paying the annual Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) in DKI Jakarta. Taxpayers now only need to scan to pay on the JakOne Mobile feature at the DKI Jakarta SAMSAT payment cashier," said Babay Parid.

PKB payments can also be made through Bank DKI's ATM and EDC machines. Bank DKI continues to present various innovations in digitizing banking products and services to provide convenience to taxpayers, accelerate local revenue and encourage the implementation of non-cash transactions in DKI Jakarta.
