JAKARTA - The Directorate General of State Assets or DJKN of the Ministry of Finance said it would re-auction assets confiscated in the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance or BLBI case located in the Lippo Karawaci area. This is because the assets have not been sold.

Director of State Asset Management and Information Systems (PKNSI) of the Ministry of Finance, Purnama Tioria Sianturi in a talk session with the media on Friday, March 18, said that the assets of the BLBI case consisted of two types, namely property assets that had turned into state property and confiscated assets. other.

"DJKN will optimize the confiscated assets, either by using them for various purposes or by selling them. Currently, some assets in Lippo Karawaci, Tangerang, Banten will be partly utilized for cooperation, some will be PMNed (state investment) to one of the SOEs, and then the other one, at the Fruit Garden will be auctioned off," said Purnama.

The auction refers to BLBI's confiscated assets located in Taman Buah, Tangerang, Banten. The assets, which are part of a total of four plots of land in one stretch, were auctioned by the government on December 21, 2021 but have not been sold.

"An announcement has been made through newspapers, but there are no interested parties. A re-auction will be conducted," said Purnama.

He also mentioned that there were other confiscated assets from the BLBI case that had not been sold in the auction, for example the assets of the former Timor Putra Nasional in Karawang, West Java. The assets were confiscated from Tommy Suharto, son of former President Suharto.

"We have announced the auction and it has not been sold, in the near future we will do another auction announcement. Similarly, other confiscated assets," he said.
