Chair Of Pelita Air's Managing Director Is Empty, Arya Sinulingga Stafsus Erick Thohir: The Ministry Of SOEs Immediately Finds The Best Replacement

JAKARTA - The chair of the President Director of PT Pelita Air Service (PAS) is currently vacant, after Albert Burhan was named a suspect in the corruption case in the procurement of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk aircraft by investigators from the Attorney General's Office (AGO). Currently, the Ministry of SOEs is in the process of looking for a replacement.

Special Staff of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Arya Sinulingga said Albert had been directly disabled by the company and his position was currently being filled by an executor.

"Pelita has immediately deactivated. (There is already an executor) from the directorate," he said when met at the SOE Ministry Office, Central Jakarta, Monday, March 14.

Furthermore, Arya explained, there will be a process carried out by the Ministry of SOEs to re-fill the seat vacated by Albert.

"There must be a process, now we're definitely looking for the best," he explained.

According to Arya, the candidates for the President Director of PAS can come from outside or inside the company. Arya was reluctant to explain for sure. Even so, Arya said the Human Resources (HR) in BUMN have qualified qualities to occupy this position.

"We'll see later, if it's good from the inside, it's from the inside. If later it turns out that from the inside we can't really support it, we have to take it from the outside. Don't be afraid, because our human resources are good," he said.

For your information, the President Director of PT Pelita Air Service (PAS) Albert Burhan has been appointed by the Attorney General's Office (AGO) as a suspect in the corruption case in the procurement of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk aircraft, 2011-2012. Albert became a suspect in his capacity as VP Vice President Treasury Management for Garuda Indonesia for the period 2005-2012.

After being named a suspect, Pelita Air temporarily disabled Albert from the position of President Director of PAS. Instead, Pelita Air appointed the Director of Finance and General Affairs, Muhammad Shabran Fauzani as the Acting Director of PAS.

It is noted that Shabran Fauzani last served as Pertamina's VP of Financing and previously served as Finance and HR Director of PT Patra Jasa, which is one of Pertamina's subsidiaries.
