Having Trillions Of Assets, The Reason Sandiaga Prefers To Use The Nissan Grand Livina

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said he prefers to use ordinary cars rather than super luxury vehicles. Whereas as a billionaire, buying a luxury car is not a difficult matter for Sandiaga.

For your information, Sandiaga Uno is known to be very loyal to his Nissan Grand Livina. The MPV car is actually quite old for a ministerial measure. The Nissan Livina (which is estimated to be worth Rp. 95 million) is still Sandiaga's daily vehicle.

In addition to the Nissan Grand Livina, in the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) Sandiaga is noted to have one other vehicle, the 2015 Nissan X-Trail for Rp250 million.

Initially, Sandiaga got a question from Rudy Salim why he chose to use an ordinary car owned by a million people instead of using a luxury vehicle.

"Sir, you are a trillionaire, why is the car normal, sir?" asked Rudy Salim, quoted from the official Instagram @Sandiuno, Sunday, February 27.

Sandiaga answered casually. He said that owning a car was not seen in terms of luxury. However, more than its function, namely as a convenient means of transportation.

"I see it very functional, yes. I don't really see the car as one of the needs in terms of luxury, but in terms of function," answered Sandiaga.

According to Sandiaga, looking at the function of goods before buying something has become his life principle.

"Because this has become a principle. If you buy something, it must be based on consideration of needs. Not just because of desire," he said. Interested in electric cars

However, Sandiaga said that choosing to use an ordinary car does not mean that he does not like luxury cars. Like those owned by Rudy Salim and the Chairman of the MPR, Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet).

"But I'm happy to see the car used by Mas Bamsoet, Bro Rudy," he said.

The former deputy governor of DKI Jakarta admitted that he was interested in electric cars. Sandiaga said that he was currently saving money to buy the car.

"I really have a crush on an electric car. But I'm waiting, I'm saving first. I want to buy an electric car," he said.
