JAKARTA - The company owned by the tycoon Hartono brothers, PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan and its subsidiaries, recorded double-digit profit growth and total assets in 2021 compared to the previous year.

Based on the publication of financial statements in the Indonesian Business Daily on February 14, 2022, the company owned by Indonesia's richest man posted a net profit of Rp. 32.47 trillion for the year ended December 31, 2021. This profit grew by 18.8 percent compared to the profit in the same period. the same as the previous year of Rp. 27.33 trillion.

Meanwhile, net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity is Rp. 18.29 trillion as of December 31, 2021. This figure has grown by 21.14 percent compared to the same period in the previous year of Rp. 15.10 trillion. The net profit was supported by net interest and sharia income of IDR 57.09 trillion, or grew 4.63 percent on an annual basis.

In terms of total assets, the controlling shareholder of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) aka BCA recorded asset growth of 11.92 percent on an annual basis at the end of 2021. Total assets as of December 31, 2020 amounted to Rp. 1,217.31 trillion, increasing to Rp. 1. 362.41 trillion as of December 31, 2021.

BCA management, represented by President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja and Director Vera Eve Lim, said that the financial statements are part of the financial statements of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk and its subsidiaries as of December 31, 2021, which will be published in daily newspapers on January 28, 2022.

In the report, it is explained that PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan as of December 31, 2021 is the owner of 54.94 percent of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk's shares. The shareholders of PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan are Robert Budi Hartono and Michael Bambang Hartono.
