Since 2020, Conglomerate-Owned Company Anthony Salim Sells Shares Of Indomaret Management Up To Rp1.12 Trillion

JAKARTA - The company owned by conglomerate Anthony Salim PT Megah Eraraharja continues to divest its ownership in the Indomaret management company PT Indoritel Makmur Internasional Tbk (DNET). This time it involved 209.55 million shares with a selling price of Rp3,050 per share.

From this action, Megah Eraraharja earned Rp639.13 billion in funds.

Quoting information submitted to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Wednesday, February 9, Director Megah Eraraharja Ieneke Santoso said that his party had directly sold 209.55 million shares of DNET. The transaction took place on February 4, 2022.

With this sale, DNET Megah Eraraharja's share ownership remains at 25.13 percent from the previous 26.6 percent.

This sale of DNET shares is not the first time that Mega Eraraharja has done. It was recorded that in 2020, the company has released DNET shares twice.

One of them on March 9, 2020, Megah Eraraharja reduced its ownership from 27.82 percent to 27.18 percent after releasing 90.98 million DNET shares at a price of Rp. 2,800. From this action, the company earned Rp254.76 billion in funds.

The action again continued on December 22, 2020. This time Megah Eraraharja released 70 million DNET shares at a price of Rp3,250 or received Rp227.5 billion in funds.

In this way, Megah Eraraharja's total proceeds from the sale of DNET shares from 2020 to date have reached Rp1.12 trillion.

It is not yet known who the purchaser of Megah Eraraharja's DNET shares is. However, as of September 30, 2021, as much as 39.35 percent of DNET's shares are owned by Hannawell Group Limited and another 25.3 percent owned by conglomerate Anthony Salim.

Meanwhile, community ownership under 5 percent reached 8.75 percent.

As additional information, until the close of trading today, DNET's shares were at the level of Rp3,240 or down 0.61 percent from the previous day's trading of Rp3,260.
