Conglomerate Pieter Tanuri's Share Ownership In Bali United Is Getting Bigger, Its Value Is Now More Than IDR 1 Trillion

JAKARTA - Conglomerate Pieter Tanuri continues to increase its share ownership in PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera Tbk (BOLA) or Bali United. Most recently, the former owner of shares in the bank company PT Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk spent IDR 1.03 billion to buy 2,500,000 BOLA shares at a price of IDR 412 per share.

Based on a report submitted by Pieter to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Friday, February 4, the transaction to buy BOLA shares took place on January 25. With this addition, Pieter's share ownership in Bali United becomes 2.39 billion shares, equivalent to 39.97 percent.

From that note, Pieter's ownership value in Bali United reached Rp1.14 trillion. This figure is based on BOLA's share price at the close of today's first session of Rp474 per share.

If you look at Bali Bintang Sejahtera's financial reports, Pieter's share ownership has been increasing since 2020. As of the end of 2020, Pieter has only held 1.45 billion BOLA shares or 24.23 percent.

Since then, Pieter has steadily increased his holdings. As of September 30, 2021, Pieter's ownership in Bali United has even reached 39.32 percent.

From Pieter's actions, it turns out that there are several shareholders who have recorded a decrease in their ownership in Bali United.

One of them is PT Indolife Pensiontama. The total shareholding of the company owned by conglomerate Anthony Salim fell from 5.39 percent in 2020 to 4.9 percent as of September 31, 2020.

In addition, there is also Unit Link Investa 4 AJK whose names have disappeared from the list of shareholders of Bali United with more than 5 percent. In 2020, AJK's Link Investa 4 Unit still holds 5.38 percent of Bali United's shares.

Another name missing from Bali United's list of shareholders above 5 percent is Miranda. In 2020, Miranda still owns 5.25 percent of Bali United's shares.
