Really Good! Sri Mulyani Calls Police Money To Soar To IDR 8.8 Trillion During 2021 From Issuance Of BPKB, STNK, And SIM

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani, said that the Indonesian National Police had succeeded in posting an increase in revenue throughout 2021.

According to the Minister of Finance, the achievement came from the issuance of a driving license (SIM), a motorized vehicle registration certificate (STNK), and proof of ownership of a motorized vehicle (BPKB).

"This is in line with the increase in sales of four-wheeled and two-wheeled motor vehicles", she said when holding a press conference on the realization of the 2021 State Budget in Jakarta, Monday, January 3.

In detail, the state treasurer explained that last year the National Police service scored IDR 8.8 trillion, or an increase of 15.4 percent from the 2020 realization of IDR 7.7 trillion. However, this score is still lower than the pre-pandemic period of IDR 9.4 trillion in 2019.

"This community service activity also supports Non-Tax State Revenue or PNBP", she said.

For information, this year the PNBP sector is recorded to have succeeded in breaking through the IDR 452 trillion figure or 151.6 percent of the budget ceiling in the 2021 State BUdget which amounted to IDR 298.2 trillion.

Apart from the National Police, PNBP is also obtained from dividends generated by SOEs, tax levies in the oil and gas and non-oil and gas industries, as well as revenues from the Public Service Agency (BLU).
