Investment Realization In KIT Batang Has Reached Rp4.9 Trillion, Wihaji Regent: There Are Chinese, Korean And Dutch Companies

JAKARTA - The Regent of Batang Wihaji said that the realization of the investment value of the Integrated Industrial Estate (KIT) Batang, Central Java, until the end of November 2021 had reached Rp4.9 trillion.

"Based on the calculations that have been reported, it is stated that the investment value in KIT Batang has exceeded Rp. 4.9 trillion," said Regent Wihaji in Batang, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, December 14.

According to him, the regency government as an extension of the central government only has an obligation to serve any investors who will enter Batang Regency.

"According to Mr. President Jokowi's message, (the Regency Government) must be able to provide the best service, accelerated without violating the rules. That's what we have instructed the relevant agencies, especially since there is an electronically integrated business licensing application (OSS) which will simplify licensing issues," he said.

He said that currently, Batang Regency is in the category of the largest investment achievement in Central Java, after Semarang City.

"Batang Regency is number 2 after Semarang City. God willing, next year it can be number one because at this time there are still many potential investors from Jakarta who are still queuing to enter this area," he said.

President Director of PT KIT Batang, Galih Saksono, while accompanying the Regent of Batang Wihaji to review the location of the Batang Regency activity center, recently said that his party had succeeded in attracting investors with an investment value of Rp. 3.7 trillion.

"The incoming investment has been calculated at IDR 3.7 trillion. The investment value is calculated according to stages such as KCC Glass whose investment value is actually IDR 5 trillion but is still calculated at IDR 2 trillion first because the area developed has not been fully completed," he said.

Galih said the investment value was obtained from five tenants who have confirmed to establish their company in the first cluster of KIT Batang with an area of about 450 hectares.

"In addition to the five, Galih said, who has confirmed their cooperation with KIT Batang, his party targets two more tenants to enter by the end of 2021.

The five companies, he said, came from the Netherlands, Korea and China, which are engaged in ink, aluminum, ceramics, pipes, and glass.

"Currently we have collaborated with the five tenants and God willing, until the end of 2021 there will be seven tenants. There are two more tenants that we are exploring, we cannot name yet," he said.
