Record The Officials Involved In The Retrenchment Meeting Of 51 KPK Officers

JAKARTA - As many as 51 of the 75 employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who did not pass the national insight test (TWK) were officially dismissed. The decision was taken at a meeting involving representatives of a number of agencies and ministries under the administration of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Deputy Chairman of the KPK Alexander Marwata mentioned the parties representing the ministries or institutions at the meeting. They are the Minister for State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumulo and the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly.

In addition there are also the Head of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Bima Haria Wibisana and representatives of the State Administration Agency (LAN) and the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN). They discussed the fate of the KPK employees with the assessors team.

The meeting starts at 09.00 WIB and ends in the afternoon. The meeting agreed on 24 names of employees who will be given the opportunity to participate in coaching. The rest must be removed from the Antirasuah Institution.

The 24 KPK employees have the opportunity to become ASNs if they pass the follow-up process. "Meanwhile, 51 people came back from the assessor, he said that the color was already red, it was not possible for guidance to be carried out," said Alex.

The state does not have time to develop

Deputy Head of BKN Suprawana Yusuf explained the basis for the decisions taken by the meeting. The point is that the state does not have time to provide guidance to 51 KPK employees whom they call having problems with 'Indonesianism'.

Based on the KPK Law, the process of changing the status of KPK employees to ASN must be completed in October 2021. The meeting concluded that there was not enough time to coach these KPK employees.

"Why is this considered unable to be fostered because we have a time concern too. The mandate or order from Law 19 of 2019 provides time for the transition of KPK employees to ASNs for 2 years from 17 October 2019," Suprawana, quoted from program One. Desk on Compass TV.

Suprawana explained that the assessors' team had norms that theoretically concluded that it was impossible for the 51 KPK employees to change in a short time. "Three years since the assessment, there will not be much change," Suprawana.

"Moreover, talking about values, values, beliefs, it is impossible to change a week a month, 3 months, it is impossible. So it is impossible for us to meet the October 17 deadline," Suprawana.

"So on October 17, 2021, all the transitions must be completed. Now it's May," he said.

Three unfulfilled aspects

Furthermore, the assessment of the assessment process for the status transfer of KPK employees consists of three main aspects. First, support or loyalty to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Republic of Indonesia, and the government.

The second is the influence on family, environment, friends or certain groups. The last aspect, personal matters related to beliefs, motivations, and values.

And the KPK employees who did not pass, said Suprawana, did not fulfill these three aspects. 51 of the 75 KPK employees who did not qualify consisted of 13 investigators.

Seven of them are retired police officers and have the status of the Head of the Task Force. Meanwhile, the other six are independent recruits from among civilians.
