JAKARTA - Death from zombies will no longer be boring. So what was imagined when he heard Timo Tjahjanto was working on a remake project for the film Train to Busan. We know how crazy Timo is. Timo's fantasies about death are always impressive. Remember, Libido, which was part of the short film collaboration project ABCs of Death (2012)?

The above scene is a very dark little corner in Timo's mind. The scene was shown in Libido, by Timo which was part of the compilation of the short film ABCs of Death (2012).

In the project, Timo and 25 other directors from around the world were asked to describe the various processes of death.

Those deaths had to be represented under a single title representing each alphabet, from A to Z. And "L" for Libido, so it was one of the most gruesome images of death. How crazy.

Train to Busan may sound fun. However, Timo actually still has other projects that have also attracted enthusiasm from the start. How are you JITU?

In 2019, Timo gave important clues about his film project. An upload on the @timobros Instagram account shows signs that Timo's adaptation of the JITU comic will soon be realized on the big screen by Timo.

Timo uploaded an image featuring the letter "J" with a font character identical to the JITU comic created by local creators Yudha Negara Nyoman and Haryadhi.

"Tonight we begin to clear the gap," wrote Timo.

Set in the New Order era, the action-thriller comic tells the story of a dark military operation and the various conspiracies behind it. JITU, is steadily making Indonesia its universe.

Not only the background, but also various social problems that are very specific to the conditions of the country. The rampant robbery incident, for example, was injected into the plot of the first volume of JITU.

JITU comics are concentrated on the main character named Rudra. He is described as a young man who was accidentally trapped into a mysterious sniper organization which many readers represented as a group of petrus or mysterious shooters who were widely known during the New Order era.

In his first mission, Rudra and several other snipers are pushed into a shooting competition, targeting illegal riders. In the opening scene, bullets shot sharply, blood splattered, and the contents of the head scattered.

This comic, published by Re: On Comics, feels very suitable for Timo, who is "fond of blood". JITU is an adult segmented comic (21+), where so many scenes of violence, blood and death are lifted to the top of the page.
