2 People Killed In Collapsed Buildings In Kalideres, Adult Woman And One Toddler

JAKARTA – The collapse of a building on Jalan Satu Maret, RT 01/03, Pegadungan Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta claimed lives. Based on information obtained, two people died in the incident.

According to Mulat Wijayanto, public relations officer for the Fire and Rescue Agency, two people died, namely Ita (40) and Ardiansyah, a baby boy aged one year and four months.

"The building collapsed at Pegadungan, where two people were trapped," said Mulat in Jakarta, Saturday, October 23.

Six fire engines (damkar) were dispatched to the scene. The process of evacuating victims, he said, was completed at 22:58 WIB.

"The victim has been evacuated, but when the two victims were taken to the hospital they were already dead," he explained.
