As reported by CNN, Friday, August 14, the state-owned energy and petrochemical group said there were no reports of injuries and the current situation was under control.

In a statement released by the official news agency of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), WAM, the company stressed the importance of protecting sailors as well as maintaining freedom of navigation and maritime security.
