Perpres Ojol tinggal finalisasi, skema bagi hasil 92 persen dan 8 persen sudah jalan

JAKARTA - The government stated that the substance of the Presidential Regulation regarding online motorcycle taxis or Ojol Presidential Regulation was almost completely completed. However, the policy has not yet been signed because there are still formulas that need to be adjusted to the development of the business pattern of transportation services.

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said the government would hold a coordination meeting to finalize the rules.

"Almost all substantive principles have been successfully formulated," said Prasetyo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 11.

According to Prasetyo, there are still several formulas that need to be completed after the government received the latest developments regarding the business pattern of transportation services.

Prasetyo ensured that the adjustment did not change the main substance of the rules.

"Only the formula we want to complete so that when it is implemented there will be no miss, because after studying it there are also many business patterns," he said.

When asked whether the Ojol Presidential Decree could be completed before August 17, Prasetyo said the substance was final.

However, the new rules officially came into force after being signed by President Prabowo Subianto and promulgated.

"In fact, substantively it is final. If it is officially, then it will be after the President signs and promulgates it," he said.

Prasetyo also said that the scheme of sharing 92 percent of the results for drivers and 8 percent was already in place in the field.

"In terms of actual implementation, it has already been implemented regarding the distribution of the results, which are 92 and 8 percent," he said.

When asked again whether the Ojol Presidential Decree would be a "gift" for the Indonesian Independence Day, Prasetyo did not specify the time of its issuance.

He only confirmed that the substantive process had been completed, while the administrative settlement was still ongoing.
