JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) regions on Tuesday, August 11, will be dominated by sunny to cloudy conditions.

The air temperature in a number of areas is expected to be in the range of 22-34 degrees Celsius, with the coldest conditions occurring in the Bogor area and the Puncak area. BMKG forecasts show that weather conditions can be different between regions and change throughout the day.

In the DKI Jakarta area, the weather is predicted to be sunny to cloudy in the morning to afternoon. Entering the afternoon and evening, cloud cover has the potential to increase in a number of areas. The air temperature is predicted to range from 25-34 degrees Celsius with high relative humidity.

Meanwhile, the Bogor area is predicted to have a temperature of around 22-32 degrees Celsius. Bogor City and Bogor Regency have the potential to experience sunny, cloudy, to cloudy conditions throughout the day.

The Puncak and Cisarua areas are expected to be cooler than other Jabodetabek areas. BMKG data for Cisarua shows morning temperatures of around 19 degrees Celsius with cloudy conditions.

In Depok, the weather is predicted to be sunny with cloudy weather with an air temperature ranging from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. Similar conditions are expected to occur in Tangerang, with a temperature of around 24-33 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Bekasi is expected to be one of the areas with relatively high temperatures, especially during the day, with a maximum temperature of around 34 degrees Celsius. The hot condition during the day needs to be anticipated by people who are active outdoors.

BMKG urges the public to maintain adequate body fluids, use protection from exposure to the sun, and avoid activities in the sun for too long. The public is also advised to monitor weather forecast updates because atmospheric conditions can change at any time.

In general, the weather in Jabodetabek on Tuesday is expected to be quite conducive for community activities. However, the potential for cloud growth and local weather changes still need to be considered, especially in the afternoon and evening.
