JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Investigation Team (Team 9) seized documents during a search of lawyer Don Ritto's house in Bandung, West Java, Tuesday (4/8) related to the alleged money laundering (TPPU) case with the suspect, former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah.

"Several documents were obtained which are suspected to have links to the case of DR (Don Ritto) himself and FA (Febrie Adriansyah)," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 5.

In addition to searching Don Ritto's residence, Anang said investigators on Tuesday (4/8) also examined five witnesses who were private parties.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, investigators examined seven witnesses.

"Most of them are from the private sector and there are two or three from the company," he said.

Previously, on Monday (3/8), the investigation team searched Don Ritto and Partner's Office in South Jakarta and the suspect's house, Nurman Herin, in Depok, West Java.

In addition, four companies owned by Don Ritto, namely PT HI, PT PIS, PT KPE, and PT SME, were also searched.

In the case of the alleged TPPU, the Attorney General's investigators have named two suspects, namely former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah and the private party Nurman Herin.

The investigation was carried out based on the Investigation Order (Sprindik) Number Print-03/F.2/Fd.2/07/2026 which was issued on July 20, 2026.

The Sprindik was issued after the Attorney General's Office received the transfer of case files and evidence from the National Police in the form of gold weighing 74 kilograms and foreign currency worth hundreds of billions of rupiah.

Previously, the Attorney General's Office also issued three sprindik after receiving the transfer of cases from the National Police.

The three investigation orders include cases of alleged corruption and TPPU at PT KNI, alleged corruption in coal management at the power plant which is suspected of triggering power outages, as well as alleged corruption and TPPU in handling the PT Asabri case.

In the PT Asabri case, the National Police named Febrie Adriansyah as a suspect in alleged corruption and TPPU, while Don Ritto was named a TPPU suspect.
