The President's agenda to IPDN is not certain, preparations in Jatinangor still on track

JAKARTA - The President's presence at the graduation of the Institute of Internal Government in Jatinangor has not been confirmed. However, the Ministry of Home Affairs is still preparing all the agenda of the visit.

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya said the Minister of Home Affairs had been at the IPDN campus to ensure that preparations were running at maximum capacity.

"Currently we are preparing for the arrival of the President in Jatinangor for the graduation of the people," said Bima at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 28.

According to Bima, all the needs of the event are still prepared assuming the agenda takes place according to plan.

"The Minister is now in the IPDN campus preparing everything to the maximum. Hopefully there will be no changes to the agenda," he said.

However, when asked whether the President had confirmed his presence, Bima confirmed that the certainty was still awaited.

"We are still waiting for certainty," he said.

Bima did not explain the reason for the President's presence, which has not been confirmed, nor the deadline for setting the agenda.

The graduation is scheduled to take place at the IPDN Jatinangor campus. The Ministry of Home Affairs will continue to prepare while waiting for the final decision regarding the President's presence.
