Four People Died in a Chain Accident in Jamin Ginting Sibolangit

JAKARTA - Four people were killed and eight others were injured in a series of accidents on Jalan Jamin Ginting, Suka Makmur Village, Sibolangit District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.

Pancur Batu Police Chief Kompol Junaidi said police personnel along with medical personnel immediately headed to the location to evacuate the victim, secure traffic flow, and conduct an investigation of the crime scene.

Based on provisional data, the accident resulted in four people dying and at least eight people being injured.

All victims were evacuated to the Sibolangit Health Center. Meanwhile, victims who require further treatment are referred to the H. Adam Malik Medan General Hospital (RSUP).

Junaidi said the exact cause of the accident was still being investigated.

The police are also still collecting witness statements and registering the vehicles involved.

Until now, the investigation process is still ongoing.

Traffic flow on Jalan Jamin Ginting experienced congestion during the process of evacuating the victims and vehicles.

Based on provisional data from the Sibolangit Health Center, the deceased were Heppi Sitinjak (60), Dinaria Manik (60), Samsir Sitinjak (30), all of whom were residents of Sidikalang, and Anton Simorangkir.
