Kejaksaan memeriksa Sudirman Said terkait kasus korupsi minyak mentah

JAKARTA - Former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Sudirman Said explained the procurement practices when he was examined by the Attorney General's investigators as a witness to the case of alleged corruption in the procurement of crude oil by Pertamina Energy Trading Ltd. (Petral) period 2008-2015.

"I asked about procurement practices and also policies regarding price determination and so on," he said at the Jampidsus building of the Attorney General's Office, Jakarta, Friday, July 17, reported by ANTARA.

Sudirman said investigators investigated this in his capacity as Senior Vice President of the Head of Integrated Supply Chain of PT Pertamina (Persero) in 2008-2009 and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources in the period 2014-2016.

"What I gave information about is what I know, I do, I experience, my policy, both when I was at Pertamina and at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources," he continued.

This time the examination was the third time for Sudirman as a witness in the case.

In this case, investigators have named seven suspects, namely Mohammad Riza Chalid (MRC), IRW, BBG, AGS, MLY, NRD, and TFK.

Mohammad Riza Chalid is the beneficial owner of Gold Manor, VeritaOil, and Global Energy Resources (GER).

Currently he is also on the Interpol "Red Notice" list related to the alleged corruption case of crude oil and refinery products at PT Pertamina Subholding and Contractor of Cooperative Work Contracts (KKKS) for the period 2018-2023.

Then, the suspect IRW as a private party and also the director of several companies owned by Mohammad Riza Chalid. Meanwhile, BBG served as the Commercial Manager of the Marketing and Commercial Directorate of PT Pertamina and finally as Managing Director of Pertamina Energy Services (PES).

AGS has the status of Head of Trading Pertamina Energy Services for the period 2012-2014. MLY served as Senior Trader Pertamina Energy Services Pte Ltd. for the period 2009-2015, while NRD was Crude Trading Manager at the same company.

TFK is a former Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) of PT Pertamina who last served as President Director of PT Pertamina International Shipping.
