Roy Suryo Files a Suspect Status, Pre-Trial Hearing Held Today

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta District Court (PN) has scheduled the first pretrial hearing filed by Roy Suryo on Friday, July 10 at 09.00 WIB. The application was filed to test the validity of the determination of him as a suspect by investigators.

The trial will be led by single judge I Ketut Darmapada. The agenda of the trial began with the examination of the pretrial application filed by Roy Suryo against the determination of the status of the suspect.

The certainty regarding the trial schedule was confirmed by the Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Halida Rahardhini. "Yes, it's true," said Halida Rahardhini when confirmed on Friday morning.

This application is the second legal effort taken by Roy Suryo. Previously, he also filed a pretrial regarding the forced action taken by investigators. Unlike the previous application, this pretrial specifically tests the legality or not of the determination of the status of a suspect against him.

The results of the first trial will determine the continuation of the pre-trial examination process, including the submission of answers from the respondent and the agenda for the evidence to be held at the next trial.
