Attorney General's Office Seizes Execution of Tens of Thousands of Kilograms of Tin Belonging to Tamron

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office carried out the seizure of the execution of tin assets weighing tens of thousands of kilograms belonging to the convicted person in the corruption case for mining business permits or tin IUP, Tamron alias Aon as the beneficial owner of CV Venus Inti Perkasa and PT Menara Cipta Mulia (MCM).

"Sita executed two tin groups with a weight of 49,486 kilograms and 54,960 kilograms belonging to the convicted Amron alias Aon," said Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 7.

He said that in the execution seizure held on Monday (6/7), the team of execution prosecutors also secured 58 baljumbo bags that had been secured at the PT Timah Tbk Warehouse in Gantung, East Bangka.

The tin group weighing 49,486 kilograms is categorized into 11 types, namely:

12 petakandross, total weight 14,470 kilograms, lead content test results average 62.21 percent; 11 jumbobag crystal and dust, total weight 14,419 kilograms, lead content test results average 59.43 percent; Tigadross in jumbobag, total weight 1,096 kilograms, lead content test results average 99.33 percent; One kilogram of lead in jumbobag, total weight 592 kilograms, lead content test results 98.59 percent; Two sample coins in jumbobag, total weight 1,359 kilograms, lead content test results average 99.95 percent; Four metal maps, total weight 6,927 kilograms, lead content test results average 85.35 percent; Four dross in jumbobag, total weight 5,858 kilograms, lead content test results average 70.59 percent; One casting dross weighing 1,724 kilograms, lead content test results 92.31 percent; One dross in the bath weighing 1,821 kilograms, lead content test results 99.33 percent; One mixed dross crystal in jumbobag weighing 671 kilograms, lead content test results 99.40 percent; One dross crystal in jumbobag weighing 549 kilograms, lead content test results 99.33 percent.

Meanwhile, for the lead group weighing 54,960 kg is categorized into five types, namely:

28 lead dust, total weight 22,540 kilograms, lead content test results average 65.28 percent; 22 slag, total weight 22,205 kilograms, lead content test results average 27 percent; 4 lead iron slag, total weight 4,975 kilograms, lead content test results average 52.39 percent; Duadross, total weight 2,035 kilograms, lead content test results average 55 percent; Satudross casting weighing 3,205 kilograms, lead content test results 99.94 percent.

He said based on the facts at the trial, the tin and jumbo bag assets were proven to be under the control of PT MCM and Tamron had admitted that the company belonged to him.

"Although in the deed of incorporation the name of the company's manager is listed as Taskin and Rahmadi Toha, in reality PT MCM is controlled by the convicted Tamron Alias Aon," he said.

Tamron was found guilty of being involved in the alleged corruption case in the management of the tin commodity trade system in the IUP area of PT Timah Tbk in 2015-2022, thus causing losses to the state treasury of IDR 300 trillion.

Tamron is also suspected of committing money laundering (TPPU) from the corrupt money he received in the case of Rp. 3.66 trillion, including to buy heavy equipment, government bonds, to shops.
