Tifa Doctor Trial Held on July 2, Roy Suryo Following the Pre-trial

East Jakarta District Court (PN Jaktim) has scheduled the first trial for a suspect in the alleged defamation and defamation case regarding the authenticity of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) diploma, Tifauzia Tyassuma (doctor Tifa) on July 2, 2026.

"Regarding the first trial plan, for Doctor Tifa it has been determined by the panel of judges to be held on Thursday (2/7)," said East Jakarta District Court Spokesperson, Immanuel Tarigan at the East Jakarta District Court, Friday, June 26, reported by ANTARA.

The trial took place at 09.00 WIB at the Main Trial Room of Prof. Kusuma Atmadja, East Jakarta District Court.

Meanwhile, the case that ensnared Roy Suryo has not been tried because it is still waiting for the pretrial process which is taking place at the South Jakarta District Court.

Immanuel explained that the provisions of the law regulate that as long as the pre-trial examination is still ongoing, the main examination of the case cannot be carried out.

"Of course, the panel of judges handling this case will coordinate and wait for the decision on the pretrial application before setting the main trial schedule," he said.

He said that the case file of the second defendant had been forwarded by the prosecutor's office to the East Jakarta District Court on June 23, 2026 and had been declared complete after undergoing administrative examination by the criminal prosecutor.

"After the examination of the case file, it was declared complete according to the existing check list, then registered and appointed by the panel of judges who will examine the case," said Immanuel.

Roy Suryo's case is registered with number 300/Pid.B/2026/PN East Jakarta, while the case of doctor Tifa is recorded with number 301/Pid.B/2026/PN East Jakarta.

With this development, said Immanuel, the case of Doctor Tifa is certain to enter the trial phase earlier in early July 2026.

Previously, the suspect in the alleged defamation and defamation regarding the authenticity of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo's diploma, Roy Suryo, filed a pretrial regarding the search and arrest by the Polda Metro Jaya investigators at the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel).

"Yes, a pretrial hearing is registered in the name of Roy Suryo," said Humas South Jakarta District Court Halida Rahardhini when confirmed in Jakarta, Wednesday (24/6).

Roy Suryo's pretrial hearing will be held on Monday (29/6) at 09.00 WIB with the chairman being Single Judge I Ketut Darpawan.
