JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump on Wednesday warned Iran, He is ready to resume military action if Tehran does not comply with its obligations, two days before the signing of an agreement to end the war between the two enemies.

"No, this is not final. This is a memorandum of understanding," President Trump said on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France, referring to an agreement expected to be signed in Switzerland on Friday, Anadolu (17/6) reported.

"If I don't like it, we will shoot them again," he added alongside Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

"If they don't behave well, we will immediately return to dropping bombs right in the middle of their heads," he continued.

"Because they have behaved badly for 47 years," President Trump said, referring to the Islamic Republic, which was founded in a revolution after the overthrow of the Shah, a US ally, in 1979.

The US-Israeli war against Iran began on February 28 with air raids targeting the capital Tehran and a number of other cities, killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and a number of senior officials, in addition to killing civilians.

Talks on a final U.S.-Iranian settlement to end the conflict are scheduled to begin Friday immediately after the signing of the agreement in Switzerland and continue for 60 days to detail the details.
