Jabodetabek Weather 15 June: Bekasi and Jakarta The Hottest Region, Temperature 34 Degrees Celsius

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) regions on Monday, June 15, will be dominated by cloudy to cloudy conditions with air temperatures ranging from 22 to 34 degrees Celsius.

Relatively stable weather is expected to support community activities at the beginning of the week, although light rain is still potentially occurring in some areas in the afternoon and evening.

In the DKI Jakarta area, the weather is expected to be cloudy from morning to noon. The air temperature ranges from 25 to 34 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of between 55 to 90 percent.

Entering the afternoon, South Jakarta and East Jakarta have the potential to experience light rain, while Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands are likely to be cloudy until evening.

Meanwhile, the Bogor area is predicted to experience cloudy weather in the morning before light to moderate rain potentially falling in the afternoon and evening. The Puncak area and the southern Bogor Regency are still likely to experience local rain which can cause slippery roads and reduced visibility.

The air temperature in Bogor ranges from 22 to 30 degrees Celsius.

In Depok City, the weather is expected to be cloudy throughout the day with an air temperature between 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. Light rain is potentially occurring in the afternoon before evening, especially in areas bordering Bogor Regency.

The Tangerang area is predicted to experience sunny to cloudy weather until noon with air temperatures ranging from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. As for Bekasi, it is predicted to be one of the hottest areas in Jabodetabek with air temperatures between 25 to 34 degrees Celsius.

BMKG urges the public to maintain body condition and meet fluid needs while being active outdoors. Although the dry season has begun to develop in some parts of Java, local rain potential can still occur due to high air humidity in the afternoon and evening.

In general, the weather in Jabodetabek on Monday is expected to be quite conducive for office activities, travel, and outdoor activities.
