Jabodetabek Weather Friday, June 12 Clear Cloudy, Bekasi Hotest Temperature Touched 34 Degrees

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) areas on Friday, June 12, will be dominated by cloudy to cloudy conditions with air temperatures ranging from 23 to 34 degrees Celsius.

Relatively stable weather is expected to support community activities, although light rain is still potentially occurring in some areas in the afternoon and evening.

In the DKI Jakarta area, the weather is expected to be cloudy from morning to noon. The air temperature ranges from 25 to 34 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of between 55 to 90 percent.

Entering the afternoon, South Jakarta and East Jakarta have the potential to experience light rain, while the Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Thousand Islands areas tend to be cloudy until evening.

Meanwhile, the Bogor area is predicted to experience cloudy weather in the morning before light to moderate rain potentially falling in the afternoon and evening.

The Puncak, Cisarua, and southern Bogor Regency areas still need to be aware of local rain which can cause slippery roads and reduced visibility. The air temperature in Bogor ranges from 23 to 31 degrees Celsius.

In Depok City, the weather is expected to be cloudy throughout the day with an air temperature between 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. Light rain is potentially occurring in the afternoon before evening, especially in the border area with Bogor Regency.

The Tangerang area is predicted to experience sunny to cloudy weather until noon with air temperatures ranging from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Bekasi is predicted to be one of the hottest areas in Jabodetabek with a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of around 25 degrees Celsius.

BMKG urges the public to maintain adequate body fluids when carrying out activities outdoors because the air temperature during the day can potentially reach more than 30 degrees Celsius. Drivers are also asked to remain vigilant against the possibility of local rain that can occur in the afternoon to evening.

In general, the weather conditions in Jabodetabek on Friday are expected to be quite conducive for office activities, travel, and outdoor activities.
