Agustina said that he was inaugurated after the Presidential Decree regarding the appointment of BGN officials was announced by the Minister of State Secretary on June 3.

He said BGN would also rearrange the cluster of problems, including the possibility of refocusing beneficiaries, namely refocusing the program's targets so that the budget is more efficient and the program's objectives are still achieved.
According to Agustina, the purpose of the BGN program is still good, namely to ensure Indonesian children are not hungry. However, he did not turn a blind eye that the program's governance still needs to be improved.
"The goal is good. Indonesian children should not starve. But the management is not good, so there are problems like now," he said.
Agustina said that he and other BGN leaders were given the task of cleaning up the problem. He has not detailed the technical steps because he has just started working.
"We have identified some problems and we will fix them one by one," said Agustina.
Regarding the division of labor, Agustina said the BGN leadership would work collectively. There is no too rigid division of duties between the head and the deputy head.
He said the old pattern that was too boxed in could potentially hinder internal collaboration, including between the past and budget management.
"One of the problems is internal collaboration which may be lacking," he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of BGN, Major General TNI Trenggono, ensured that he had applied for early retirement from the TNI after being appointed to fill a public position at BGN.
"So I retired early. My willingness," said Trenggono.
Agustina said that the improvement of BGN would be carried out gradually, starting from data, internal organization, budget, to services to beneficiaries.
