JAKARTA - Russia is studying the implementation of visa-free travel for Indonesia and a number of other countries, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

In an interview with RIA Novosti at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPEF), Chernyshenko named Malaysia, Bahrain, and Kuwait as some of the other countries.

"We are discussing with our partners the possibility of completely exempting visas for Malaysia, Indonesia, Bahrain, and Kuwait," Chernyshenko said, quoting Antara.

"Similar steps are also being studied for organized tourist groups from India and Vietnam," he said.
