JAKARTA - The Chairman of the Young Anti-Corruption Caucus Organization, Joko Priyoski, emphasized that the statement from the trial witness was part of one piece of evidence. Joko asked the KPK to immediately detain Ahmad Dedi and block him from going abroad.

"From the questions of the public prosecutor and the statements of the witnesses, the KPK should immediately act decisively by arresting Ahmad Dedi and issuing a restraining letter so that he does not flee abroad," Joko Priyoski told reporters, Wednesday, June 3.

Joko also said that by giving the initials D only, it means trying to obscure his original identity whose full name is Ahmad Dedi.

"The initial D with one letter, especially if it is not intended to obscure the original identity whose name is Ahmad Dedi. The KPK must be firm and show its fangs as an anti-corruption institution in the era of its founding," said Joko.

Although Ahmad Dedi is a member of the ruling political party, Joko asked the KPK not to be selective.

"Just look at today, the former head of BGN was detained by the Attorney General's Office. The KPK must have the courage to take firm action and arrest Ahmad Dedi, President Prabowo will not protect anyone who commits corruption," he said.
