Former Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana Was Picked Up by Officers and Taken to the Attorney General's Office

JAKARTA - The former Head of the National Nutrition Agency or BGN Dadan Hindayana is reported to have been picked up by the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia. Dadan was picked up along with one former senior from the BGN. Meanwhile, another former senior is being hunted by the Attorney General's Office in West Java.

VOI sources said that Dadan's and one former high-ranking official's pick-up was in line with the Attorney General's Office's search at the BGN office, Kebon Sirih area, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, June 3.

"There are those who are being chased in West Java. The Kejaksaan team has been at BGN since 2 a.m.," said the source.

Based on monitoring at the location, office activities have practically stopped. A number of BGN employees who arrived to start work hours were actually stuck outside the building area.

Security officers directed employees to stay outside and were not allowed to enter the room due to activities from the Prosecutor's Office.

On Tuesday (2/6), Prabowo officially removed Dadan Hindayana from the position of Head of BGN and replaced him with Naniek S Deyang. This early morning raid occurred a day after President Prabowo Subianto carried out a massive overhaul of the National Nutrition Agency.
