President Prabowo was greeted with a French National Honor Ceremony.

Paris - President Prabowo Subianto was greeted with a state ceremony from the French Government upon his arrival at Les Invalides, Paris, France, Thursday, May 28, afternoon local time. President Prabowo appeared wearing a gray suit paired with a black turban.

Upon arrival at the location, he was immediately greeted by the Prime Minister of France, His Excellency Sébastien Lecornu. The welcoming ceremony took place in the courtyard of Les Invalides. President Prabowo paid tribute to the Indonesian and French flags when the Indonesian national anthem was played, which was then followed by the French national anthem, La Marseillaise.

After the national anthem procession, President Prabowo introduced the Indonesian delegation who accompanied him on the visit. The delegation consisted of President Prabowo's son, Didit Hediprasetyo; Foreign Minister Sugiono; Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya; Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto; Minister of Investment Rosan Roeslani; and the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to France, Mohamad Oemar.

After the introduction of the delegation, President Prabowo boarded a French military command vehicle to carry out an inspection of the honor guard. From the top of the vehicle, President Prabowo saluted the ranks of the troops who lined up neatly in the ceremony area.

After the inspection, the motorcade of the President of the Republic of Indonesia departed for the Élysée Palace with a festive escort by 146 cavalry troops and 27 French motor personnel. There, President Prabowo is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.
