Prabowo Emphasizes that the TNI Must Be Adaptive to Face Global Geopolitical Dynamics

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized the importance of the ability of TNI soldiers to adapt to global geopolitical changes that are increasingly dynamic and complex. The message was conveyed by Prabowo when giving a briefing to 1,000 TNI and Polri officer students at the Army Staff and Command School (Seskoad), Bandung, West Java, Monday, May 25.

Major Cke Amarullah from the 08 Syndicate of the LXVII Seskoad said President Prabowo highlighted the rapid geopolitical changes in the world that required the TNI to be able to adapt to various global strategic developments.

"The most important thing is that we conclude that we must be able to adapt. Adapt to developments. We know the dynamics of geopolitics are so extreme. Well, we as TNI officers must also be able to adapt," said Amarullah after attending President Prabowo's briefing, quoted by Antara.

According to Amarullah, the President assessed the ability to adapt as one of the main keys to maintaining national defense readiness in the midst of increasing global challenges, ranging from regional conflicts, changes in modern warfare patterns, to the development of military technology.

Prabowo was also said to emphasize the importance of updating the TNI doctrine so that it remains relevant to the development of time and Indonesia's strategic needs in the future.

"So there were instructions from the President, in the future the TNI must also be able to change its doctrines to adapt to the development of time," explained Amarullah.

The briefing was considered an important briefing for student officers in understanding the challenges of national defense, which continue to change along with international geopolitical dynamics.

On that occasion, Amarullah also conveyed the hope that President Prabowo would always be given health and strength in carrying out the vision of national development, including strengthening the national defense sector.

"We as Pasis and also as TNI officers, first of all, of course, pray that the President will always be healthy and strong, because we feel that the President has lofty ideals for the Indonesian Nation," he said.

He emphasized that TNI soldiers were ready to fully support President Prabowo's directions and vision, including in facing the increasingly complex security and defense challenges in the future.

"We as TNI soldiers will support it 100 percent. Hopefully in the future we can carry it out as well as possible," said Amarullah.
