JAKARTA - The Russian Kalashnikov Group has equipped its Skat-350M reconnaissance drone with equipment that allows it to maintain control under enemy electronic warfare and resist interference.

Kalashnikov UAV Division Director Alexander Likhachev explained that GPS signal forgery is the transmission of a false satellite signal, which causes navigation equipment in the aircraft to display the wrong location.
False signals can be used to divert a drone from its planned flight path or even hijack it.
The Skat-350M optical navigation system developed by the group allows the aircraft to continue its flight mission even in severe GPS signal distortion and continuous signal forgery attacks.
It is emphasized that this new system has been tested in a special military operation zone in Ukraine and has proven its high effectiveness.
Kalashnikov said in a statement on its website that the drone is designed for reconnaissance and ground operations support in adverse weather conditions at temperatures from -45 to 45 degrees Celsius.
