JAKARTA - The Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH) has again held an activity to hand over funds from efforts to save state finances and regulate forest areas. The money totaled 10 trillion.

The Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, ST Burhanuddin, said that the money from the rescue was handed over to the state through the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu).

"We report and hand over the money from the follow-up of the forest area by the PKH Task Force to the state through the Ministry of Finance with a total of Rp. 10,270,051,886,464," said the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, ST Burhanuddin, in his remarks, Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Burhanuddin said the funds came from two main sources. Namely, the collection of administrative fines in the field of forestry and revenue from the results of the PKH Task Force's supervision related to UN and non-UN taxes. The results of the collection of administrative fines in the field of forestry and the PKH Task Force amounted to Rp. 3,423,742,672,359.

"The results of the PKH Task Force, which is intended for UN and non-UN taxes, are the results of the PKH Task Force supervision of Rp6,846,309,214,105," said the deputy director of PKH.

In addition to the money transfer, continued Burhanuddin, the PKH Task Force also reported the success of regaining forest areas from the palm oil plantation and mining sectors.

"Since its establishment in February 2025, the PKH Task Force has managed to regain control of 5,889,141.31 hectares of forest areas in the oil palm plantation sector and 12,371.58 hectares in the mining sector," he said.

In the seventh phase, the PKH Task Force handed over 2.37 million hectares of forest area to the Ministry of Finance to be forwarded to BP Investasi Danantara and PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara. The land comes from the revocation of concession permits, palm oil violations, to plasma obligations.

"So if it is accumulated at the seventh stage, PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara has received the transfer of forest land from the PKH Task Force with an area of 4,120,915.75 hectares," he said.

Furthermore, Burhanuddin, said the success of the PKH Task Force was a tangible proof that the state was present to maintain forest sovereignty and crack down on natural wealth leaks.

He emphasized that the government would not tolerate the illegal possession of natural resources that would harm the country and society.

"Law enforcement must be firm, and natural wealth that is illegally controlled must be returned for the prosperity of the people," he concluded.
