JAKARTA - Police have named one of the daycare center caregivers of Baby Preneur in Banda Aceh City, with the initials DS (24) as a suspect in the alleged case of abuse of toddlers.
"Currently, we have only one suspect, namely DS (24). This determination was made after an investigation was conducted against DS and the case title by investigators," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Banda Aceh Police, Kompol Miftahuda Dizha Fezuono, in Banda Aceh, Wednesday, April 29.

Kompol Dhiza said that until now, the title of the case was still ongoing to see if there were other perpetrators involved in the case, as well as the possibility of other similar events there.
"The further investigation is not yet complete, there may be other events and other alleged perpetrators. If there are more suspects, we will convey it back to the public," he said.
Kompol Dhiza explained that the suspect would be charged with child abuse as referred to in Article 77B Jo Article 76B Jo Article 80 Paragraph (1) Jo Article 76C of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2014 concerning changes to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection.
"And or Article 466 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Law Book with a five-year imprisonment and a fine of Rp. 72 million," said Kompol Dhiza.
