Riau Police Get the Best IKPA, Police Chief: This is the Result of the Work of All Personnel

JAKARTA - The Riau Police have again made achievements at the national level. The police institution in the Land of the Yellow Dragon received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Head of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia as a Police with the best performance value of the Budget Implementation Performance Indicator (IKPA) in the medium ceiling category.

The award is contained in the Award Charter Number: Kep/585/IV/2026 which was signed directly by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo in Jakarta, April 23.

This achievement is a form of appreciation for the performance of the management of the Riau Police budget which is considered effective, accountable, on target, and able to maintain the quality of the implementation of programs and optimal absorption of the budget.

The Riau Police received a certificate of appreciation with the best achievement value of the Implementation of Budget Performance Indicator (IKPA) in the medium ceiling category.

The Riau Police Chief, Irjen Herry Heryawan, said that the award was not the result of the work of one or two people, but the fruit of the collective work of all personnel of the Riau Police and its ranks.

According to him, the award from the National Police Chief received by the Riau Police was the result of hard work of all personnel, from the level of the Polda to the ranks of the Polsek.

"I express my gratitude and highest appreciation to all members who have worked with full responsibility and maintained integrity in the management of state budgets," said Inspector General Herry Heryawan, Wednesday (29/4/2026).

The Riau Police received a certificate of appreciation with the best achievement value of the Implementation of Budget Performance Indicator (IKPA) in the medium ceiling category.

He emphasized that good budget management is not merely a matter of administration, but an important part of efforts to provide maximum public services to the community.

"The state budget is a trust of the people. Therefore, it must be managed well, transparent, appropriate, and really beneficial to support the police's service to the community," he said.

The Police Chief also assessed that this achievement was a motivation for all ranks of the Riau Police to continue to improve professionalism and clean and modern organizational governance.

He believes that the success is also inseparable from the cohesiveness of personnel in the field who have always worked to carry out service, security, law enforcement, and social and community programs in the midst of various dynamics.

"I am proud of all the members. Many work without spotlight, without stage, but still sincerely carry out their duties for the community. This award belongs together, belongs to the whole family of the Riau Police,"
