Nizar Files a Petition for the SK of the Kadin Chairman, Pushing for the Re-election of the West Java Kadin

BANDUNG - The dispute over the position of Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce has not subsided. Nizar Sungkar sued the Decree (SK) of the Chairman of the General (Ketum) of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce Anindya Bakrie who confirmed Almer Faiq Rusyidi. He asked the Bandung District Court to cancel the SK and at the same time demand Rp20 billion in non-material compensation.

The mediation session, which rolled on Tuesday, April 21, is still in the second stage of mediation. The process is led by non-judge mediator Sutarjo. The parties submitted a peaceful option. However, the chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya was absent again.

Through his lawyers, Jhon Sitepu and Tri Laksono, Nizar offered four options. First, he was inaugurated as the Chairman of the West Java Chamber of Commerce. Second, if rejected, the management period is divided into two, each 2.5 years. Third, a Provincial Consultative Meeting (Muprov) is held again. Finally, wait for the court's decision, which is currently underway at the Bandung PN and South Jakarta PN.

In the closed mediation room, Nizar's lawyer protested the mediator. Jhon assessed that there was an impression of partiality. "The mediator should be neutral, not give an opinion that leads," he said.

After the protest, the pattern of mediation was changed. The parties were called one by one. Starting with Anindya's lawyer, then Nizar, followed by the Almer party and the Muprov committee. The short meeting of about 10 minutes was then closed with a conclusion. All proposals will be submitted to the principals.

Tri Laksono said that next week all parties are required to attend. If there is a meeting point, the case can be resolved peacefully. If not, the trial continues.

Nizar's lawsuit targets three groups, namely the central Kadin management, the Muprov committee (caretaker), and the Almer camp. This dispute began with two Muprov on September 24, 2025. The Bogor Muprov appointed Almer, while the Bandung Muprov chose Nizar.

Nizar assessed that the Muprov Bandung was valid because it was held by a caretaker based on the SK of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce. However, until now, the confirmation of the results of the Muprov Bandung has never been published. On the other hand, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce appointed Almer in Cirebon in November 2025.
