Furthermore, the officers carried out development and finally secured the perpetrator in a shop house in the Pangeran Jayakarta area, Central Jakarta.

From the suspect's hands, officers seized a number of evidence in the form of two mobile phones and screenshots of online gambling sites used in the activity.
"The suspect is charged with Article 45 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 27 paragraph (2) of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, with a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and/or a fine of up to IDR 10 billion. In addition, the suspect is also charged with Article 426 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 9 years in prison," he said.
