BOGOR - The Bogor City DPRD is monitoring the fulfillment of workers' rights in the second stage of mediation between employees and management of PT TSM which has now changed its name to PT Aegis Jaya Metalindo. The mediation process at the Bogor City Manpower Office, Tuesday, April 14, produced a number of important agreements.
The Chairman of Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD, Fajar Muhammad Nur, emphasized the legislative commitment to ensure that all workers' rights are truly fulfilled.
"The Bogor City DPRD is fully committed to bridging the conflict between companies and workers. We urge companies to comply with the rules and not ignore employee rights," he said.
He explained, this issue involves 31 employees of the former PT TSM. The change of company name had triggered concerns regarding the status of employment relationship. However, through mediation, both parties reached a point of agreement.
The agreement includes the reinstatement of 31 employees as part of PT Aegis Jaya Metalindo, the settlement of payment of wages for January-March 2026 including THR, and the commitment to pay arrears of wages in stages.
For long arrears, the company will pay wages for 2021 in January-June 2027, while arrears for 2022 are scheduled for July-December 2027.
