JAKARTA - The Polda Metro Jaya Police Journalist Forum (FWP) held a social activity by inviting orphans from the Indonesian Orphanage (PYI) to play together at Playtopia, Senayan Park, Jakarta, Friday, April 3, 2026.

As many as a dozen children participated in the activity. For about two hours, they played in the game arena and received gifts from the committee.

The head of FWP, Achmad Faruk, said this activity was part of an effort to build concern outside journalistic activities.

"The synergy between the National Police and media colleagues is not only about exchanging information, but also collaboration in social activities," said Faruk in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Friday, April 3, 2026.

He added that the activity is expected to provide a pleasant experience for children.

Previously, FWP routinely held social activities in the form of distributing food packages to orphanages and the community on the street.

Separately, the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, appreciated the activities carried out by FWP.

"I would like to thank my colleagues from the Police Journalist Forum who have invited children from the Indonesian Orphanage to play together," said Budi.

According to him, this kind of activity is expected to provide benefits and positive experiences for the children involved.

"Hopefully, the time, the opportunity that friends give to our children and younger siblings, will provide benefits, bring blessings, especially bring happiness and pleasure to our younger siblings," he said.

"And hopefully this will continue to be done to provide a useful life for the Indonesian Orphanage siblings," he concluded.
