Abdul Mu'ti Soroti Perkembangan Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah di Tengah Silaturahmi Idul Fitri 1447 H

JAKARTA - Muhammadiyah business activities continue to show positive developments, especially in the education sector. The increase in the number of students and the addition of study programs at various universities are strong indicators of this growth. This was conveyed by the General Secretary of the Central Leadership (PP) of Muhammadiyah, Abdul Mu'ti, in the Idul Fitri 1447 Hijriah Gathering at the Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta (UMJ), Tuesday (31/3/2026).

In his remarks, Abdul Mu'ti emphasized that Muhammadiyah would continue to strive to improve the quality and service of education in the midst of increasingly fierce competition. He also admitted that there were still a number of things that needed to be improved so that Muhammadiyah's business was still relevant and superior.

"We continue to strive to improve quality and service," he said.

The activity which took place at the K.H. Ahmad Azhar Basyir Auditorium, Cendekia Building UMJ was attended by a number of national figures and took place in a warm atmosphere full of togetherness. The high enthusiasm of the participants even made the event quite crowded.

Abdul Mu'ti also apologized for various shortcomings in the organization of the event, both in terms of facilities and comfort. He also represented the people of Muhammadiyah to apologize for the mistakes in the interaction so far.

However, he assessed that the density actually reflected the strong spirit of brotherhood and togetherness in the Muhammadiyah environment. He hopes that this Eid al-Fitr momentum will not only be a meeting place, but also a means of reflection and strengthening in carrying out the mandate.

"We hope that this meeting will be a momentum to get inspiration and reinforcement," he said.

A number of figures who attended also expressed their views. Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Savings Deposit Insurance Agency (LPS), Anggito Abimanyu, congratulated all the participants on Eid al-Fitr.

"Minal aidzin walfaidzin, please forgive me for being born and dying," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Housing and Settlements, Fahri Hamzah, emphasized the importance of building a culture of mutual listening in strengthening togetherness.

"The more often we listen to each other well, the better the results will be," he said.

Member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) of the Republic of Indonesia, Irman Gusman, also appreciated the implementation of this activity. He assessed that the brotherhood was an important strength in maintaining and expanding the network of togetherness.

"This is a great strength that we must protect and develop together," he said.

He also emphasized the strategic role of Muhammadiyah as a moral force in the community.

"Muhammadiyah must appear in front," he said.

This activity is an opportunity to strengthen synergy and strengthen Muhammadiyah's commitment to contribute to the nation and the nation in the future.
