One Way Reverse Traffic Toll Pejagan to KM 70, 22 Cikatama Toll Gate Operated

KARAWANG - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) operates 22 substations at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (Cikatama) to serve vehicle traffic towards Jakarta following the implementation of one way on the Trans Java Toll Road.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT Jasamarga Transjawa TolRia Marlinda Paallo said JTT optimizes services at GT Cikampek Utama to support the gradual local one-way traffic engineering on the Trans Java Toll road, to reduce the density of the Eid al-Fitr traffic.

Traffic engineering one way local was previously implemented gradually, starting from KM 132 Cikopo-Palimanan Toll Road to KM 70 GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road at 08.47 WIB.

Furthermore, at 10.23 WIB, Friday, March 27, the precision local one-way traffic engineering was expanded from KM 263 Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road to KM 70 GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

He said the traffic engineering was situational according to the police's discretion and would continue to be evaluated following the development of conditions in the field.

As a form of optimizing services, GT Cikampek Utama as the last barrier that receives vehicles from the eastern region of Trans Java currently operates 22 substations to serve vehicle traffic towards Jakarta.

JTT will also continue to adjust the operation of the substation on a situational basis, including increasing capacity to 26 substations to anticipate a surge in traffic volume.

According to him, the JTT has optimized all operational resources to support the smooth implementation of traffic engineering.

"JTT fully supports the traffic engineering policy set by the police to ensure that vehicle traffic remains smooth and under control," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 27.

Along with the increase in traffic volume during the Lebaran homecoming period, his party also ensures that services in the field remain optimal. So that road users can experience a safe and comfortable journey.

JTT ensures operational readiness through the optimization of field officers, maximum operation of toll stations, and the addition of transaction service support to speed up services at toll gates.

Traffic conditions are also monitored in real time through CCTV integrated with the information control center.

In line with the implementation of traffic engineering, the JTT appeals to all Trans Java toll road users to be able to anticipate the travel route early, ensure the condition of vehicles and drivers are in good condition, and prepare the adequacy of electronic money balance before entering the toll road.

Road users are also expected to always comply with traffic signs and follow the instructions of officers in the field for the sake of safety and comfort.
